What our gear is made from.

Our materials

Since 2021, we’ve been moving our headwear to fabrics made with recycled yarns.

These yarns are made from recycled plastic bottles and recycled yarn waste. This page sets out what our fabrics are made from and what we’re doing so far.

A recycled polyester fibre made from recycled materials, including plastic bottles. Used in selected Fractel headwear.

Polartec®

Technical performance fabrics from Polartec®. Used in selected Fractel styles.

Coolcore®

Cooling fabric technology from Coolcore®. Used in selected Fractel styles.
