Running Visors

Choose a visor when you want shade for your eyes but maximum airflow on top - great for hot, humid runs or when you’re already wearing a buff, bun or braids. Many runners also prefer visors for races because they feel lighter and a bit less noticeable.

Our visors feature UPF‑rated brims to shield your face, plus a dark underbill to cut glare. Because the top of your head is exposed, we always recommend sunscreen (or a buff) on high‑UV days if you’re out for long periods.

Yes - visors work really well with high ponytails, buns, braids and curls because there’s no closed crown to fight with. Just set your hairstyle where you like it, then adjust the visor to sit comfortably around it.

It can be, since the crown is open by design. On long, high-UV days we'd suggest sunscreen on any exposed part or a buff underneath, especially if you're thinning up top or out for hours at a time.

For a lot of runners with a high ponytail or bun, yes. A visor has an open crown, so there's nothing sitting on top of your hair to flatten it, unlike a standard cap. If you want more coverage than a visor gives, our C-Series ponytail caps are worth a look instead.
