Always struggle to find a good hat, this is one!
This is a great hat that works well for running. Two small things - maybe because I have very square shoulders but when I button it closed it bunches up a little at the bottom and thus gets shorter around the neck, but if you leave it open while running it flies out behind you (no idea how you could fix that though other than maybe shaping it over the shoulders). Also, I’m a female with a 60cm head so a pony tail option in the larger size would also have been great!
Love this cap! I’ve been on the hunt for a lightweight legionnaires cap for a while for my outdoors running. I live in the Kimberely region of northern Western Australia and it’s freakin’ hot here - 30-40 degree C days, high humidity, high sun exposure. I get great sun coverage around my ears and upper neck with this hat; I also found the fabric extremely cooling. Washes up great in a bra bag, double win for ease of care. Pony tail feature gives comfort and elastic toggle at back of hat secures well when breeze kicks in. Snap button feature for flaps is great too. Only thing I would change is a broader brim to offer more sun protection for face. Lower neck still does cop some sun exposure (expected, the flaps can only cover so much!) so I pair this hat with a neck bandana. I reckon the darker colours in this range would still be cool enough to wear in sunny conditions too- I want another and will be getting a a funkier colour for adventure running comps!

The first bucket hat I’ve had that keeps your head cool and stays on during high country weather.
I find the brims of other Fractel caps don't suit my head but this cap is comfy and I'm so enjoying being able to wear my pony up high.

Have always been a trucker cap guy for running, thought I would try a bucket hat for a change. Really like the coverage and despite having no obvious ventilation in the top part of the hat, I can feel the breeze cooling my head. Cool colourway. Would definitely buy another.
The perfect hat for hiking , light / breathable and keeps the sun of your neck and face.
